This has got to stop ( a request )
I myself am tired of arena-net taking to heart the complaints of all PvPers and never the PvEers. Several days ago they provided us with another wonderful update.
Ranger changes:
Power Shot: decreased damage to 5...17...20.
**PROBLEMS WITH THIS: In pre-searing, this is the most commonly used ranger skill! I don't care what happens in HA/GvG from a PvE point of view (I play both), but my ranger in PvE has lost many good skills ....
Penetrating/Sundering attack: decreased damage to 3...9...10; decreased armor penetration to 10%; increased recharge to 4 seconds.
All these skill changes are targeted at PvP and they never give a 2nd thought to PvE. What will eventually happen is all skills will be nerfed to the point that nobody can damage anyone else. They need to give main consideration to the people who play in pre-searing where very few skills are available to their characters.
I know a lot of posts have been made about this in the past, but the change to powershot has really got to my PvE ranger...

I agree, PvP'ers are whining because they cant be bothered to make new builds. Everything is counter-able. And then PvE'ers get all the stick for it. Tbh man i'm 100% with you on this.

You might hate me for saying this, but I think the devs should be focusing on containing the unwieldly power of certain PvE builds, rather than buffing things.
When I first started playing PvE, I was shocked when I saw the same things being asked for in every group.
That shouldn't happen. I've never played an online game that allowed that kind of decline.
A number of select builds are so effective in PvE, they have become considered mandatory and set the standard for everything else.
The only reason I think they still exist is because the devs are content with there always being a sure fire way of doing something, so as not to worry about having to ever worry. XD

sorry mate, but Anet nerf as they see fit, just adapt .
Only trouble is now new players will find this skill obsolete and start to use firestorm D:

But that isnt his problem. is problem are there are no other viable skills for him in pre sear, so he cant make new builds as there are only a few skills per profession.

- Oh boy, terrible things. Like, when you try to use Power Snot on level 2 devourer it's so weak it bounces back from the chitin armor!!! This is a serious concern!!! Power Snot's name implies it's powerful!!! Please give Power Snot proper power level like 9000 dmg!!!!

They balance skills for PvE if an area of PvE becomes unwinnable (which is like, impossible) or if they crash the server (see: Prot Bond)

I don't know what is worse. The fact that you use Power Shot, or the fact that you complained because it affects PRE SEARING. zzz
You're all bad, PvP balances are more important because PvE doesn't need balance. It has PvE skills, and mobs that never change the way they act/cast/move/etc.
